About 28 of us enjoyed a smashing day out in London on Saturday 17th June 2017. Putting the dramatically hot weather to one side, we rang at 5 towers including St. James, Garlickhythe which houses the famous Jubilee Bells.

Besides the 5 towers that we rang in, we visited a 6th tower – St. Pauls Cathedral where we enjoyed a super talk and escorted tour to the ringing chamber and to see the bells.

Huge thanks must go to Colin and Louise for organising this day.

And to cap it all, 8 of us rang in the 231st quarter for the Society:
