The Open University Society of Change Ringers [OpUSCR] is a group of over 70 bell ringers who are, or have been associated with The Open University as students or staff. Our members live in any part of the world, so we try to arrange meetings to suit this scattering.
Our interests are to bring together members of the Society to events that are organised. These events are open to members and non-members alike and the level of ringing capability is of no significance - though we do encourage normal standards. Associate membership is also available.
The Society is affiliated to OUSA (The Open University Students Association) and has a formal Committee and Constitution.
This Website attempts to provide up-to-date details of forthcoming events. It also aims to provide details of all that had gone on through the years since our formation in 1979.
Double-clicking the OU logo (top, right hand corner) will return you to the Homepage. No Email addresses are used - instead, all enquiries are sent to us by the use of Contact Us.
Certain Records are included which may be of interest. Please report errors (there are some!!).
Any further ideas will be welcomed.
The History page offers more detail of our foundations.
